Services for Doris Marvel Edwards, 75, of Winnsboro, formerly of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Les Darcey officiating.
Interment will follow in Sand Flat Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards passed away December 13, 2018, in Winnsboro. She was born January 17, 1943, in Arkoma, Oklahoma to James Milton & Margueritte Hollowell Marvel. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline and was a member of New Horizons Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troyce Edwards; and brother, Jackie Lee Harper.
Survivors include her son, Teddy Adcock and wife Cathy of Emory; two daughters, Judy Taylor of Winnsboro and Rhonda Kay Sheppeard of Genoa, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Matt Brumitt, Brandi Reese and Chauncey Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Matt Brumitt, Blake Youngblood, Robert Taylor, Bryan Alexander, Wayne Staten and Scott Barron.
Troy Busby will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
