Condolences

Condolence From: Alton Sloan
Condolence: I miss my dad so much. Each time I watch the Aggies or eat chocolate pie or ice cream or peanut butter and banana sandwiches (this list could go on for a while) he will be with me. I am thankful for the time I had with him over the past few years. He taught me and my kids a lot in those years. I will honor him by being the best father I can be for Benjamin and Elfriede. I will honor him by being kind to everyone I meet. I will honor my father by strengthening the bonds I have with our family. In this way he will continue to be with us. I hope to live up to the example he set for me and others. I love you, Dad.

Condolence: I wish I had known your personality better but I did know you. I knew your soul and intentions and due to that, I knew what you deserved. You deserve the best possible, grandpa. You are extremely loved because of your pure being. I happen to be one of the lucky people to have the luxury to know and love you. “You will never be alone again.”

Condolence: Grandpa, You’re one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Didn’t have a mean bone in you. You always went out of your way to put a smile on my face and everyone else’s, rarely asking for much in return. It was a blessing to have you in my life and I’m truly honored to be your grandson. I’ll always hold your memory in my heart. I miss you and hope we meet again.

Condolence: Grandpa, It feels like only yesterday you were driving around town with my brothers and I in the back of the car going out for fish ice cream. We would always look forward to visiting you because we knew you’d come up with some type of joke or prank to pull on one of us any chance you’d get. Quick to call us family and quicker to put us in our place as if you were our second dad. There was hardly a dull moment around you and all the memories we have shared together have all been in fun and laughter. You will forever be missed by your families but never forgotten. Thank you for always wearing your true colors and sharing the many stories you’ve told me. I love you Grandpa. Your grandson, Jason
