Obituary for Norma Winskie (Jolley)

Services for Norma Winskie, 78, of Grand Saline are scheduled for 10 am, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Richland Heights Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Winskie and Bro. Richard Ansley officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Edgewood, Texas.
Mrs. Winskie passed away June 11, 2018 in Grand Saline. She was born September 8, 1939, in Shreveport, Louisiana to James and Ora Mae Vann Jolley. Norma spent her early years in the Dallas area and graduated from Adamson High School in 1958. On March 5, 1960, she married Mark Winskie at Royal Haven Baptist Church in Dallas. In 1981, they moved to Grand Saline. She was a member of the Richland Heights Baptist Church, where she served as Pastor’s wife, children’s church teacher, assistant song director, church clerk, G.M.A. counselor, participated in the Toys for Tots in this area, and various other organizations and activities. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Mark Winskie of Grand Saline; son, Clay Winskie and wife Ayla of Griffin, Georgia; daughters, Sharon Ousley of Canton and Leigh Gomillion and husband Jim of Tyler; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Patterson, Phil Patterson, Michael Gomillion, Jim Gomillion, Danny Winskie, and Josh Winskie.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
