Services for Lester Haynes "Teddy" Anderson Jr., 70, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. David Yarbrough officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson passed away February 18, 2018 in a Grand Saline nursing home. He was born December 21, 1947, in Grand Saline, to Lester Haynes & Bessie Mae Miller Anderson. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he was a mechanic. He served as Grand Saline Fire Chief for many years and was also a member of the Grand Saline Masonic Lodge #1269. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Anderson of Grand Saline; son, Heath Anderson and wife Joanna of Midland; daughter, Donna Woods and husband Chad; stepson, Dewayne Mosley and wife Jean of Grand Saline; stepdaughter, Michelle Fritz and husband Richard of Longview; eleven grandchildren, Annika Limberger, Paige Limberger, Stacie Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Corby Mosley, Cassie Mosley, Ashley Mosley, Skyler Fritz, Spencer Fritz, Sarah Fritz and Sawyer Fritz; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grand Saline Volunteer Firemen of 1976-1988.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
