Obituary for Thomas Francis De Witt
GOLDEN – Memorial services for Thomas Francis Leo De Witt, 79, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church ,Golden, under the direction of the family and friends.
Burial will be in Golden Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. De Witt passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in Sulphur Springs.
He was born Sunday, May 1, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Leo T. and Doris Clark De Witt. He graduated from Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1956 and attended Bellarmine University. He served in the Navy for two years and he was a Catholic.
He is survived by his brothers, Dennis and wife Nancy De Witt of Louisville, Kentucky, Kenneth and wife Sue Mueller of Louisville, Kentucky, and Douglas and wife Marge Mueller of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters, Carolyn and husband George Heh of Aiken, South Carolina, and Margaret and husband Donnie Moore of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson, Kenny and wife Jennifer Gillian of Flint; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
