Obituary for Betty Jane Lott

Services for Betty Jane Lott, 84, of Canton, are scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. John Clark and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Betty passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 2017 in Grand Saline. She was born June 25, 1932 in McCamey, the daughter of Clarence Albert Weddle and Mary Elizabeth MacDougald Weedle. She was raised in McCamey and graduated from McCamey High School. On June 19, 1950, she married Billy Frank Lott in McCamey. They were happily married for 56 years. Betty was formerly employed by Toyah ISD as a teacher’s aide. She later was a stay at home wife and mother. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, playing the piano, and spending time with her family. She lived in Grand Saline for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Albert and Mary Elizabeth Weddle; husband, Billy Frank Lott; brother, Marvin Charles Weddle; and three sisters, Frances Elliot, Lou Smith and Dollie Winfield. Betty is survived by two sons, Frank Lott and wife Connie of Fort Worth, Craig Lott and wife Kay of Fruitvale; brother, Bobby Joe Weddle and Robert Webb of Ackerly; three sisters, Bernice Houck and husband Dan of Sheffield, Peggy Stacy of Grand Saline and Pat Stroud and husband Jerry of Grand Saline; three granddaughters, Sallee Clark and husband Jon of Fort Worth, Brooke Lott of Nashville, TN, and Abby Morton and husband Tad of Eustace; one great-grandson, Hunter Clark of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a special friend, Jean Clower.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tad Morton, Hunter Clark, Jerry Stroud, Pat Fisher and Jim Bozeman.
Memorials may be made to Autumnwood Hospice.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
