Condolence From: Joan Priestley and Bern Davis

Condolence: We have been good friends with Richard's father, John Harpole, for almost 20 years. John's face always lit up when he spoke about his son, Richard. John was so proud of Richard's achievements and family. In fact, John moved to Texas to be closer to his son and grandchildren.
We are so sorry for the family's sudden loss. Life can be so unexpected and fleeting. We know that Richard's passing will leave a void in the lives of all who knew him.

Condolence From: Sandra Nixon

Condolence: To all of Richard's loved ones, I want to express my deep sorrow for your unexpected loss. I am the IT Regional Manager at the UST office in Dallas and I worked with Richard in Tyler. I got to help him get set up on his first day at work. He was so excited and I remember that Richard, Robin and I had a blast that day even though everything was going wrong starting with I had his name misspelled in the network and we couldn't get anything to work. Horpole!! Can you imagine? I figured that he was very under impressed with my stellar IT Skills! It seemed like everything we did that day was a disaster. He just gave me that grin and we just started laughing our heads off. I knew that day that we would get along great. Robin had her hands full trying to get his access right from that day forward. I was sent to work in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas then to DC where I am still so we didn't get to work together for a time. I was looking forward to working directly with Richard upon my return. He was to be a part of our Systems Staff and I had so many plans and ideas which included Richard. I am sad that I missed out on that opportunity. He was a great addition to our Tyler office and he will be greatly missed.
