WINNSBORO – Graveside services for Alton “Pete” Ray Williams, 68, of Winnsboro, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Williams passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at a hospice facility in Tyler.
He was born Tuesday, April 20, 1948, in Alba to the late J.C. and Mary Jane Lynch Williams. He retired from Tyler Pipe after 20 years as a machine operator.
Survivors include step daughter, Elizabeth and Harvey Howard of Sargent; brother, Clarence and Frances Williams of Tyler; sisters, Lois Sanders of Fort Worth, Dorothy and Henry Gonzales of White House, and Barbara Meagley and Ruben Vega of Gilmer; step-grandchildren, Jacob and Jennifer Howard, Desiree and Carl Gilbert, Jennifer and Raye Hood, Forrest Densmore, and Shana and Josh Lara; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and step-great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minnie Williams; sister, Ruth Owens; and step-son, Bobby Ingram.
