Jimmy Joe Frazier

ALBA – Private graveside services for Jimmy Joe “Pops” Frazier, 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Golden Cemetery, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Fazier passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born Wednesday, June 3, 1936, in Fate to the late Basil David and Dolly Opal Partin Frazier. He married Flora Jean Newton on February 19, 1955, in Chico. He lived over 20 years at Lake Lavon and lived the last 16 years in Alba. Jimmy worked as a supervisor of Texas Instruments for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jean Frazier of Alba; son, Mark and Kayla Frazier of Alba; four grandchildren, Marcus Frazier, Charlie Frazier, Devin Frazier, and Camron Frazier; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carey Lynn Frazier; and three sisters.
Pallbearers are Marcus Frazier, Charlie Frazier, Devin Frazier, Camron Frazier, Glen Jones, and Henry Mason.
There will be no family visitation.
