POINT – Services for Billy Don Kirkpatrick, Sr., 58, of Point, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Rev. Sue Gross officiating.
Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away Friday, December 18, 2015, at his residence in Point.
He was born May 18, 1957, in Weatherford, to the late Earl and Jessie Merle Jones Kirkpatrick. He spent most of his life in Emory. He lived 20 years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before moving to Point five years ago. He married Olive-Lynn Briggs Wilkins on September 25, 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a painter in the construction business.
Survivors include his wife Lynn Kirkpatrick of Point; son, Billy Don Kirkpatrick, Jr. and wife Julie of Yellville, Arkansas; daughters, Lacey Nicole Taylor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Krystal Kirkpatrick of Waco; step-son, Allen Shane Kirkpatrick of Mabank; step-daughter, Winter Duanna Cason and husband Larry of Mabank; sisters and spouses, Jeanetta Ann and James Kirkpatrick of Emory, Juanita and Larry May of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and Beverly and Jefferey Cooper of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren, Robert Lane Taylor, Caden M. Vandiver, Seth Vandiver; Autumn Cason, Summer Vandiver, Shayneh Nevaeh Dawn Kirkpatrick, Kadin Lane Kirkpatrick, Savannah Hearn, Patrick Hearn, Jaymz Wyhatt Kirkpatrick, and Crissy Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Earl Kirkpatrick; sister, Janet Pearl Kirkpatrick; and nephew Jay Todd Sherwood.
Pallbearers will be Lane Taylor, David Sherwood, Jeff Cooper, Jocko Surber, Billy Don Kirkpatrick, Jr., Jaymz Wyhatt Kirkpatrick, and Larry Cason.
