ALBA – Services for Barbara Ann Johnson, 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Enon Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Reggie Day and Ken Rundus officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Monday, February 3, 2014, at her residence.
She was born December 28, 1933, in Evant to the late Vernon and Leona Marshall Wilhite. She married Jimmy Johnson January 16, 1954, in Evant. She had lived most of her adult life in Arlington, moving to Alba in 2009. She loved painting landscapes, cooking, entertaining, and shopping. She was involved in the Samaritan’s Purse ministry. She was a Vice President in the banking industry and a member of Enon Baptist Church, Alba.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years; Jimmy Johnson of Alba; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mike Williams of Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Sue Wilhite of Gatesville; 2 grandchildren, Michael Williams, Clayton Williams and Jessica; 2 great grandchildren, Kaysen Williams and Gabby Williams; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Leona Wilhite; sisters, Patsy Millsap and Laverne Stafford.
Pallbearers are Mike Williams, Michael Williams, Clayton Williams, Tyler Rundus, Brian Dyer, Kobey Millsap, Scott Bass, Danny Wilhite, Darren Wilhite, Steve Greer, and James Greer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
